    Cooling and Healing

I suffer from dry eye. In addition one of my eyes has had an injury and for years has been a little weepy. These wipes have cooling aloe and green tea, as well as chamomile extract. They also help to heal your skin thanks to tea tree. For me, I've found the best way to use these is to keep them semi-folded up after removing them from the foil packet. That way I can cleanse one eyelid, fold it over the other way, and then cleanse the other without any cross contamination. They stay sanitary since they are individually packaged. They have a very slight tea tree fragrance that will be fine for all but the most sensitive of noses. I have a pretty sensitive nose and I could barely smell it.This is an excellent product for those that need it. The eye that gets most easily irritated feels more comfortable for a good hour after using them. I've never experienced any sensitivity or irritation in the eye area from them.My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to change the graphic on each pouch. As you can see in the photograph, what they are trying to do is mimic that popular marble pattern. Gray veining against a white background. Unfortunately, when you look at it, the package simply looks like it's dirty. You want to wipe it clean. Or worse, it looks kind of like my floaters or how my one eye is starting to view things with macular degeneration. Either way, perhaps plain white might be better. This would also be an excellent product for diligent caregivers. Many people that are bed bound or have other issues often have heavy crusties and crumblies around their eyes. Great product to have in your caregiving arsenal products. So, if you're looking at this for yourself, or a loved one, I wish you the very best of health. Good eye care can never be stressed enough.xxoo

It finally happened, my eye was dry, red, itchy and swollen.

UPDATE 10/13/23last week, I don't know what happened but my eye was hurting bad and I kept getting eye crustiest. It was so bad that touching it in the slightest would cause pain. This product saved the day!!!!It was the only thing I could rub my eye with that didn't immediately hurt. It loosened up the crustiest and provided soothing relief. I'm so glad I still had these almost a year later, I'll definitely be getting more.----------The level of irritation that my eye was experiencing was intense, it stopped me from whatever it wasn’t I was doing at the time. Something important I’m sure, and all I could do was lay down while applying pressure to it with a cold bottle of water. It was then that I remembered I had these eye wipe thingies somewhere. I called out for my 11 year old son and asked him to look for them in my desk. Moments later he came back all excited saying he found some gum. After two more attempts and me threatening to take away his Nintendo he finally found them. One little packet, containing one folded up wipe.Easy to open and pretty self explanatory (wipe your CLOSED eye with it)The moment of truthNow keep in mind, I’m just you average dude from America. Father to my child and husband to my wife. I’ve Never heard of this product before and couldn’t tell ya what it has on it or how it works. But Here is what I can say.It brought my eye irritation level down to tolerable and allowed me to carry on with my life. Will I use it again? You betchaShould you give it a try?Sure

Eyelid Wipes That Use Natural Ingredients With A High Price To Match

HylaWipe Eyelid Wipes are the first eyelid wipes that I have used that include natural ingredients like green tea extract and chamomilla recutita flower extract. The 30 individually wrapped pre-moistened wipes are held in a slim box. The foil wrappers are easy to tear open. The first thing I noticed was how large these eyelid wipes are. I have to purchase eyelid wipes for daily use due to blepharitis and I was taken aback as the wipes look like the size of the makeup wipes that I currently use. The wipes have a soft feel to them and a prominent scent of tea tree extract. I liked how the wipe glided across my eyelid and lash line as it felt smooth and comfortable. I felt a slight tingle when using this product which I think was from the tea tree extract. My lash line felt squeaky clean afterwards. I did not suffer any skin irritations or redness when using this product. The box I received has an expiration date of almost two years from the day I received it. I think this is a good product but it costs more than the eye wipes I currently purchase monthly with very similar results. I think these are good wipes but I don't see myself purchasing again over my current brand when the end results are pretty much identical.

Gentle and Economical (Read the Review to See Why)

I've been using the Occusoft Plus wipes for years to deal with blepharitis, and I wasn't aware of the world of different eye wipe products that are available. Because I felt that the Occusoft wipes felt slightly harsh to my skin, I started looking to see if other products were available. After reading through many reviews, I decided to try the TearRestore Tea Tree HylaWipe Eyelid Wipes, and I think they're great. The material of the wipe itself is thicker than the Occusoft wipes and definitely more pleasant to my skin. The cleansing Tea Tree HylaWipe solution that soaks the wipes is gentle, and I detect no scent. The only issue is that the wipes are significantly bigger than needed. Since the wipes are twice as big as needed, I cut the wipe in half and tuck the unused half back into the wrapper, put a paper clip on the open end, and save it for the next use. The wipes don't dry out over the next 1-2 days and are perfectly usable. That means a box of wipes lasts for twice as long as expected!

Best of 3: Size, Gentleness, Price, Effectiveness, Results

1st- the size - wonderful - cleaned with 1 side, took photo to check progress—cleaned with other side —to get all those eyelash mites. Amazing how you can zoom in and see what is clinging to your eyelashes. My first foto was so bad I wouldn’t show my best friend. I used morning and night —cut in half if you like—will stay moist in a baggie—I didn’t because my problem with mites was severe.2nd —TearRestore is gentle—with just enough roughness to break the hold of those mites —other two brands too rough.3rd - price is reasonable - unlike the other two brands. I will be telling my optometrist about these.4th —results—it works — I take a photo every day - before and after. Now that my problem is much better - I will try using every other day, then move to 3 times and week, and so on.I am 80 years old and don’t do many reviews—but this level of quality warrants a good review. Thank you TearRestore, for making such an excellent product —keep this wonderful size , too!

Find Dry Eye Relief by Treating the Cause

TearRestore's physician-backed products make it simple to find and maintain an effective treatment routine. The earlier and more consistent you treat the condition, the better your long-term eye health will be.

The Cause of Dry Eye Syndrome

Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) is the primary cause of Dry Eye Syndrome and occurs when the oil glands within the eyelids (Meibomian glands) harden and become clogged. Without enough oil, the tears evaporate too quickly which leads to irritation often experienced after activities such as extended computer use. The best treatment for MGD is to clean and warm the eyelids daily. These therapies remove obstructions and soften the oil within the Meibomian glands to improve the outflow of oil. If left untreated, clogged oil glands can deteriorate over time and result in chronic pain.
